Hardata will participate in NAB Show 2008, the internacional event organizad by the National Association of Broadcasters that covers the innovations of the electronics industry and the media market of the whole world.

Hardata Dinesat Radio is software that allows with great stability to manage and automate radio stations.

Hardata is a company dedicated to investigate, develop and commercialize radio, TV and multimedia software, announced the advantages that its' product Dinesat Radio has in broadcasting through internet.

The traditional Dinesat Radio comes with the modules Live Encoder and RDS manager, which allows the info of the songs to go with the audio at all times either through car stereos or through car stereos as well as the radio's webpage, being able to show the song's title and singer plus having the possibility to add graphics ads in text form.

It is also available an incorporated audio editor, that apart from the common edition functions, includes the silence cuts at the beginning and end of the song, normalized, time stretching, it allows to rip, reads CDDB info and import batch files.

Respecting the music programming, it allows the music emission, advertisements and artistic randomly, but respecting predetermined formats, so that the radio could be programmed and set in auto without the need of an operator since Dinesat picks up the music, selects the best cross fade between them, inserts the artistic, announces the themes and emits the ads at the stipulated time.

The agreement was formalized during the excellent year that Hardata is going through due to an elaborated growth and expansion strategy that was set into practice at the beginning of 2007; ten years after its consolidation as a software company for the media market.

The alliance reached with Mark Rivers, President & CEO of Video Technics will allow Hardata to control the Apella video servers and offer TV automation solutions integrating hdxVideo of Hardata with Video Technics' Apella servers. 

Team work, innovation capability and technical knowledge of the Hardata team were the fundamental pillars for the reached goals during 2007 and they are projected as important pillars for the expansion in foreign markets that the company is planning.

Currently Hardata hdxVideo controls 360 System video servers, Maxx Servers, Leitch Nexio Servers and since last August we have added Grass Valley servers. With this we have installed in the marketplace an economic and reliable video automation solution for TV stations.

Developing state-of-the-art tech which allows media companies to manage and distribute contents through a software package. Hardata incurred since its beginning in the audio digital market, developing key products for market companies, winning through time its present prestige and be known in the market how the company creator of Dinesat and SNC the Satellite Control Technology and the Hardata hdxServer, developments which allowed to start America’s and worldwide most important satellite chains.

With dissimilar grade of intensity, in the past years, Hardata’s products expanded outer frontiers, winning worldwide markets.

“Presently the argentine products can be directed to over 195 markets in the world. In this decade the argentine tech exports arose around 90%, which represents an enormous opportunity for SMB’s that are focused in technology”, indicates Gustavo Pesci, CEO of Hardata.

Different promotional activities are being developed by national owned companies with the idea of penetrating new markets and expanding its commercial boundaries. Las April, Hardata attended NAB exhibit, an event organized by the National Association of Broadcasters which was done in Las Vegas Convention Center and annually it attracts the electronic media professionals’.

“Through that way we have experienced closing deals in markets of the whole world, since NAB is an exhibit where worldwide industry professionals attend. Besides promoting our products in exhibits, our expanding strategy was to open market in foreign countries through distributors or selling products from neighboring countries”, states Eng. Pesci. 

The experience in automation software projects and the strategy of translating the product in English, Portuguese, French, Arab, Japanese and Chinese contributed in Hardata’s expansion and this year, in its tenth anniversary as a company, to sell its products in  Saudi Arabia, Maldives Islands and Egypt. We are currently managing prospects in China and in the Middle East.

Foreign trade is an important part of any country’s GNP, so by acquiring an export culture in argentine service and products companies may bring good economic benefits for the country. Since all markets get someway to saturation, at some point companies for continuing growing have to bet to expand.

The lack of foreign market knowledge some times puts a weight in the initiative, but the important thing to know is that it is a gradual process which grows as long as the new market and its variables gets to be known. Exporting intellectual capital is a challenge and it seems that Hardata is a good argentine example that it can be done.

Three new TV stations were added to the list of conquests of hdxVideo, Hardata's audiovisual contents automation product that continues expanding in Latin America and closing deals all over the region.

C5N of Argentina, Extra 42 TV of Costa Rica and Canal 21 of Chile were the ones that were added in august to the total automations of its audiovisual contents with Hardata hdxVideo, a complete audiovisual content management system which bases its technology in Hardata hdxServer and offers a platform through which TV stations may manage the access and destiny of contents. What does Hardata hdxVideo do? It stores, index, catalogue, search, program and plays out audiovisual contents.

Hardata announced that it will take part in the traditional exhibition Caper 2007, that will take place at Costa Salguero Center from October 31st  until November 2nd.

Hardata Dinesat Radio broadcasts music festival in Australia

Over the recent Easter weekend the 17th Annual East Coast International Blues & Roots Music Festival (better known as Bluesfest 2006) took place in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia.  

Byron Bay is located at the Eastern-most point of the continent of Australia and is proud of its "no-traffic light" easy going lifestyle.  The town is a popular holiday destination, and with a pleasant all year climate is also home to many people who choose to live away from the major cities.  

The festival each year draws thousands of people from all around Australia. Writer, publisher (Rhythms Magazine) and broadcaster Brian Wise from Melbourne was there to record performances and produce three radio programs for the Australian Community Radio Network. Bill Runting from Hardata's Australian Distributor, Waratel Communications was there with Brian and Hardata Dinesat Radio software was used during the eight hours of national broadcasting to bring to listeners highlights of some of the 85 acts performing over four days.

A temporary studio was setup in a portable cabin.  An ISDN line was connected and used to transfer the broadcast to the satellite uplink in Sydney.  Performances from each of the four stages was recorded by the crew onto Compact Flash recorders which were downloaded onto several laptop computers.  These were edited and divided into discrete WAV files which were then imported into Dinesat Radio across a local network.

The programs were presented live hosted by several music experts, led by Brian Wise. Dinesat Radio running on Bill's laptop enabled the program schedule to be revised up until the last seconds before an item was broadcast.  Even during the program, more WAV files were being edited and seamlessly imported into the Dinesat database. The laptop was interfaced to the broadcast console using an Edirol UA-25 USB sound device, with the laptop's internal sound device being used for cueing purposes.  Throughout Dinesat Radio performed flawlessly and contributed enormously to the smooth running of these special broadcasts.

Hardata carried out in 101.5 FM the first implementation of Hardata hdxRDS Manager® in Argentina

It is a radio data transmission product. By means of the innovative RDS (Radio Data System), it offers not only the conventional music and voice contribution, but it also transmits data in encoded signals that are decoded by any automobile stereo compatible with this system (or to a lesser degree a home radio).

This new development of the company offers the chance to display data related to the song that is being aired by a radio station, together with important tips in the automobile radio screen.

Hardata is in the middle process of installation of its product Hardata hdxRadio in 35 terminals of Radio Mitre, this way the broadcasting station will be able to control in a reliable and sure way the transmissions in FM 100 and Radio Mitre AM 790, also being able to transmit news and musical programming through this complete system of administration of audio and text, based on technology Hardata hdxServer.

The same system was implemented in Radio del Plata and Radio Uno, both broadcasting stations of Ideas del Sur, they added our technology in 22 terminals. In consequence, the Hardata hdxRadio will allow them to have a sure and flexible platform to negotiate the access and the destination of its contents easily.

America TV of Argentine, chose Hardata hdxVideo for the administration and automation of its sign of news A24. The software controls a servant of Video Image Server of 360 Systems, a Master Switch, a logo generator from Videotron, and several digital VTRs. Radio Impact Aubonne, Switzerland

Radio Impact, a young station devoted to promote charity and solidarity between the Europeans young listeners, has implemented a digital architecture based on Hardata hdxRadio technology for their Internet transmission.

This Station is growing fast, and they planned to broadcast through DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) at the end of 2004.
