Hardata Hdx Server 3 is a powerful multimedia content manager offering services in ingest, cataloguing, search, transcodification, random format creation, user and material audits, and synchronization of other Hdx servers, all included in 3-tier architecture with a strong emphasis in content protection and user and license management.
Hardata Hdx Server 3 is an open system with a public API, which doubtlessly enables new developments by other companies that can take advantage of the potential of our powerful content manager.
The HARDATA Video Engine is a video reproduction system that not only accepts a wide variety of video file formats - including DV, MPEG 2, H.264 and DivX - but also generates content in SD and HD. Conversions standardize video on-the-fly and upgrade it to the selected resolution.
The HARDATA Video Engine also supports graphics created with flash animation and dynamic data.
ShotPlay is an audio reproduction system built on an optimized architecture to operate on extra low latency on a wide range of hardware. It includes support for Audio Stream Input/Output (ASIO) cards to improve output speeds.
ShotPlay’s advanced mixing supports high end audio quality in 8,16,24 and 32-bit recording formats, using a floating point sample at frequencies up to 96 KHz.
It features automatic detection of start, end, punch in and punch out marks, generates perfect crossfades, and chooses the optimal mix between two audio streams.
HARDATA SNC technology makes it easy to synchronize and safely distribute content to remote stations and replace national with local advertising. The system handles commands for adverting inserts and deletions, remote recording from the audio channel broadcast history, programming to remote stations and synchronizes network time zones.
The system generates an automatic local audio fill, allowing users to synchronize time delays between national and local advertising breaks.
The system also automatically detects satellite outages, reroutes feeds to local programming and then reconnects to restored satellite feeds, all handled seamlessly using crossfades. SNC operates via satellite, and SNCoIP enables internet signal distribution.
