Radio stations automation
Hardata Dinesat Radio is specially designed for radio stations automation from its two playout windows separation, Air1 for commercials and Air2 for music, providing 5 automatic operation modes:
-
Commercials + Music: Dinesat Radio plays back the scheduled music on Air2 when it is time for the commercial schedule to be aired, it waits till the on-air song finishes and at that moment it turns to Air1 and the commercials playback starts.
-
Timed commercials + Fade music: Dinesat Radio plays back the scheduled music on Air2 and when it is time for commercials, it fades on the song being aired and at this very moment it turns to Air1 and on-time commercials scheduled for a specific time start being played back.
-
Timed commercials + auxiliary input show: Dinesat Radio allows the current show passage into the audio card auxiliary input and when it is time for scheduled commercials, it fades on the auxiliary input, changing to Air1 and timed commercials playback starts.
-
Satellite mode, GPI controlled commercials + Auxiliary input show: Dinesat Radio allows the current show passage into the audio card auxiliary input and when a GPI change is recognized, it fades on the auxiliary input, at that moment changes to Air1 and commercials playback starts. Dinesat Radio waits for a GPI change to return to the current show in the auxiliary input. If the commercials playout ends and the reconnection command is not yet passed on, Dinesat Radio fills the gap with Air2 music programming.
-
Satellite mode, SNC controlled Commercials + Auxiliary input show: Dinesat Radio allows the current show passage into the audio card auxiliary input and when it recognizes an SNC command (Satellite Network Control) indicating that regional playout has to start, it fades on the auxiliary input, changing at that time to Air1 and the commercials playback starts. Dinesat Radio waits for a new SNC reconnection command to return to the current show in the auxiliary input. If the commercials playout ends and the reconnection command is not yet passed on, Dinesat Radio fills the gap with AIR2 music programming.
